Description: PVR’s first multiplex in Hyderabad provides five screens in the city centre. Situated in one of the busiest shopping areas in downtown Hyderabad, the innovative scheme creates two distinct conical foyer spaces connected by a sinuous Cinema Access Foyer with curved perimeter walls leading the patrons effortlessly in to the auditoria.
In keeping with South India’s vibrant colours and rich heritage, the entire two-storey high conical main Foyer is covered with lacquered gold glitter while a jewel like dished ceiling clad in stainless steel shingles hovers above. A cosy ovular space painted entirely in red, with built in banquet seating gently intersects the conical foyer in one corner and forms an inviting meeting and seating zone for the cinemagoer. The space, lit from various red light sources such as backlit light tables and recessed cold cathode lighting also has cinema related graphic artwork integrated into the very fabric of the interior walls.
