Description: Sunlight, daylight and climatic control are vital to a healthy working environment. In converting a redundant north-facing warehouse into media offices, an uninviting lightwell has been transformed into an atrium that draws in fresh air and ventilates the surrounding workspace. A south-facing reflector suspended below the glass roof directs sunlight into the building.
The design exploits the natural characteristics of the building to create a well-lit workplace that allows each user to control their own environment and is economic to run and maintain.
