Description: The Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark is sponsoring a new school in Greenwich as part of the government’s Academies programme. The new Academy, specialising in both Sports and Enterprise, will cater for 1,200 children from ages eleven to sixteen, as well as providing extensive facilities for the local community.
Jestico + Whiles has used its expertise to find solutions to challenging phasing and urban design issues, which included a complex off-site temporary facility, alongside designing an inspirational new building which matches the Academy’s innovative curriculum.
