Description: Designed by Jestico + Whiles under a combined appointment as architect and interior designer, this 250 key hotel is set within a new 13-acre commercial development, More London, on the South Bank of the Thames between London Bridge and Tower Bridge.
The hotel is conceived as three interlinked ‘strips’ clad in variegated, copper panels and ribbed, honed terracotta, mediate between the historic Tooley Street Conservation Area and More London’s contemporary towers. A dramatic cantilevered frosted glass box, the banqueting suite is cantilevered over the main pedestrian axis. An executive sky lounge gives long distance views to the Thames.
