Description: Won in competition against three of Britain’s leading retail designers, Jestico + Whiles were appointed to design a new retail concept to market specialist local produce for one of the North West’s leading supermarket operators Booths.
Set beneath one of Booth’s newly developed stores in Kendal, Jestico + Whiles developed the completely new concept to bring fresh, locally produced specialists foods to a defined section of the market.
Using a careful selection of locally produced slate, timber and specialist furniture to reflect the atmosphere of traditional values in a fresh contemporary design has been greeted with huge enthusiasm to the delight of the Client who is to extend the specialist concept to many more of their stores.
