Description: On a strategic hillside site overlooking Prague’s historic old town and the Castle, Jestico+Whiles has masterplanned a complete new £50m neighbourhood mixing housing, offices, hotel and a range of cafes, bars and shops.
In response to the sensitive setting, the new buildings are planned in a sequence of landscaped courts, open on one side to soften the view from the castle whilst enabling the users to enjoy the unique views across the city.
Planned to improve transport connections to the main railway station and the future Prague metro line D, the development is designed to be phased ensuring funding flexibility.
