This 280 key hotel in the heart of Smichov, Prague’s new cultural and business district, was designed in answer to a brief to “bring hotel lobby culture to Prague for the first time.”
The Bohemian tradition of coloured glass is used in glowing, jewel-like boxes carved into roughly split locally quarried limestone. The reception desk is a floating block of honed stone.
Andel’s offers a 200 cover restaurant and the largest contemporary conferencing facility in Prague.
