Client: Tindall Overseas
Title: Allied Irish Bank
Location: London, UK
Description: This new workplace on busy Finchley Road is constructed on the site of an under-used car park over the tracks of the North London Line. Mounted on huge anti-vibration structural springs, and isolated from the rumble of passing trains and traffic by complex accoustic barriers, the building spans the railway by way of a deep roof latticed truss. This is profiled to provide north lighting deep into the plan, and to carry the weight of the floors beneath. The corporate banking centre includes a 3-storey atrium/ reception.
