Description: This commercial space was created from two floors of an awkward ‘seventies building for a City financial organisation, with the brief to reflect a new impetus, momentum and dynamism.
From the aerofoil reception desk, fabricated from aluminium sheet with flush pop rivets, the visitor is guided by lines of coloured LED floor flight-lights to modular meeting rooms with pivoting, finned aluminium doors.
A huge elliptical boardroom table, seating 26, is made of interlinking glass sheets, supported by riveted monocoque aluminium wings. Rotor shaped credenzas clad in aluminium and back-lit cobalt blue glass, repeat the detail.
Purpose-designed desking systems, a new interlinking blued steal stair and a carefully selected palette of materials all serve to reinforce the new corporate identity and improve the performance of each individual in the company.
