Description: The open competition to design a new Thames Gateway Landmark Building in Shoebury has been won by Jestico + Whiles. Called The Green Mark, the building will provide 105 homes and will be clad in sustainably sourced metal panels layered in shiplap planks, reminiscent of the vessels that have ploughed the Thames. It draws on the Architects particular expertise to provide a platform for evolving sustainable systems.
